Number of electric agricultural tractors in use in Belgium 2007-2020

Electric vehicles contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In Belgium, the number of electric agricultural tractors in use increased almost annually, except for a slight decrease in 2013. In 2007, five electric agricultural tractors were in use in Belgium, whereas by 2020 this increased to a total of 57. In terms of the number of charging stations for electric vehicles, Belgium had nearly 7,500 charging stations in 2020, whereas neighboring countries the Netherlands and Luxembourg had roughly 58,000 and 1,000 charging stations respectively.
