Netherlands: opinions on gender 'X' on identity documents 2018

The statistic displays the results of a survey of opinions on the option of gender 'X' on identity documents in the Netherlands in 2018. The survey results indicate that amongst all voters combined, the majority of respondents disagreed with the option 'X' for gender on identity cards. Just over 35 percent of all respondents felt that such an option should be available, whereas among LGBTQ+ survey participants, over 60 percent of respondents felt that there should be such an option.
