Deaths caused by particle pollution (PM2.5) in India 1990-2019
The average number of deaths caused by PM2.5 pollution across the south Asian country of India was nearly 980 thousand in 2019, up from around 933 thousand deaths in 2018. An overall significant increase in death was seen over the years from 1990 in the country due to linear rise in pollution.
