eSports consumers and players in France 2022
A July 2022 study among internet users in France estimated that nearly 11 million French people watched or played eSports. As of that period, eSports consumers in the country - namely those who watched video game competitions without taking part in them - were approximately six million. Meanwhile, it was estimated that 3.5 million people in France were both consumers and players, and eSports players totaled 1.3 million.
