The technology sector was the most common target for cyberattacks in the Asia Pacific region for a period between 2018 and 2019, making up 29 and 35 percent of all cyberattacks in Japan and Australia respectively. In comparison, nearly half of cyber attacks in Hong Kong aimed at the manufacturing sector.
