Share of newlyweds without children in South Korea 2021, by economic status
In 2021, around 50.4 percent of double-income newlywed couples in South Korea had no children. Newlywed couples in South Korea were most likely to have no children when the wife was economically active, and inversely most likely to have children when the wife was not economically active and there was a single breadwinner.
