Hong Kong: perceived and actual share of energy used from renewable sources 2018

This statistic presents the results of a survey on perceived amount of energy used that comes from renewable sources in Hong Kong as of October 2018. According to data published by Ipsos, respondents in Hong Kong overestimated the use of renewable energy sources. On average, the respondents thought that around 16 percent of energy consumed in Hong Kong came from renewable sources, when the actual amount was only around one percent.
