Top music genres among internet users in Brazil 2021
As of May 2021, around 43 percent of internet users surveyed in Brazil said sertanejo – Brazil's equivalent to country music – was one of their favorite music genres. Approximately 28 percent of respondents mentioned Brazilian popular music, abbreviated in Portuguese as MPB. In 2021, the penetration rate of music streaming among internet users in Brazil stood at 73 percent.
