Colombia: monthly YoY growth of beauty & hygiene product sales 2020-2023
From April to September 2020, sales of cosmetics and personal care products in Colombia plummeted in comparison to the previous year, registering year-on-year decrease rates between 15.5 and 5.2 percent. This development is associated with the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to the crisis, the South American country recorded three consecutive months of increases in sales of this type of products, when compared to the respective months of the previous year. As of August 2023, the change in sales of cosmetics and personal care products was 2.2 percent.
