Italy: parents being advised not to vaccinate their children against HPV 2017-2019 This statistic depicts the share of parents being advised not to vaccinate their children against human papillomavirus (HPV) in Italy in 2017 and 2019, by information source. As of 2019, 15 percent of parents were suggested to not vaccinate their children against HPV by friends and acquaintances, a tendency which grew between 2017 and 2019. Moreover, 9.9 percent of respondents were recommended to avoid the vaccination by a pediatrician.
