This statistic depicts the awareness of human papillomavirus (HPV) among parents in Italy in 2017 and 2019, by vaccination status of children. As of 2019, the information level of parents having at least one child vaccinated against HPV was the highest, since that 97.5 percent of respondents belonging to this group knew what HPV was. By contrast, the lowest share (84.4 percent) was registered among parents who were not interested in vaccinating their children against the virus.
