World ranking of the Argentine male national football team 1992-2021

Based on rankings published by FIFA in December 2021, the Argentine men's national soccer team sat at fifth place worldwide. Since December 1992, the squad reached the top of the FIFA World's ranking for the first time in 2007, after a considerable improvement since the turn of the century. However, this South American football team struggled during the 2010s, which led it to rank 11th in 2018. Since then, Argentina's male soccer team managed to climb four positions, occupying the seventh place in the world ranking by the end of 2020.
