In recent years, the e-commerce sector has been growing and under the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the share of e-commerce spending reached all times highs. This trend has also impacted leasing activity in the logistics and industrial real estate market. In the first half of 2022, the 3PL and distribution sector accounted for the largest share of industrial and logistics real estate take-up at 28 percent.
