Opinion on made-up news worsening in the future in the U.S. 2019

The statistic shows the share of adults who believe the issue of fake news and misinformation will get worse in the next five years in the United States as of March 2019. The findings reveal that the majority of adults stated that they thought fake news would worsen in the future, with 56 percent believing the issue would become more prevalent. Conversely, just ten percent of responding U.S. adults said that they thought the issue of fake news and misinformation would improve in the next five years.
