Changes renters needed to make to afford rent in the U.S. 2019, by urbanity
In April 2019, 76 percent of rural renters had to spend less to afford their rent in the United States, whereas only 65 percent of suburban renters had to do the same. The savings behavior of all groups were also impacted by rent affordability.
