Mill consumption volume of raw jute India FY 2008-2022

During financial year 2022, 7.2 million bales of 180 kilogram each of raw jute was consumed in mills across India. This was increase from the previous financial year by one million bales. According to the textile ministry, about 370 thousand workers were employed directly in organized mills within the industry that year.
