Jumia annual net revenue 2020

In 2020, Nigerian e-commerce platform Jumia generated 139.6 million euros in revenues, marking an annual decrease of about 20 million euros from the previous year. Back in 2017, the annual revenue of Jumia was below the 100 million euros mark.

The sources adds the following information: "2018 periods have been restated to reflect the impact of the reclassification of certain types of vouchers, consumer and partner incentives from Sales & Advertising expense to Revenue. This reclassification amounted to €0.5 million in the fourth quarter 2018 and €1.5 million for the full year 2018. The cumulative effect for the nine months ended September 30, 2019 was included in the results for the three months ended September 30, 2019.
