Mexico: number of population facing food insecurity 2014-2020, by severity
In 2020, approximately 10.2 million people in Mexico lived in a situation of severe food insecurity, slightly down from 10.3 million registered a year earlier. In turn, more than 16 million citizens were considered socially vulnerable for suffering moderate food deprivation in 2020.
