Vietnam: main reasons to buy wearable tech by gender 2019

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight, 49 percent of the female respondents and 44 percent of the male respondents were concerned about their health and would like to monitor and improve it by using wearable tech. In the same survey, less than half of the respondents stated that they owned a smart wearable.

The survey was conducted among 698 female and 751 male respondents. Other surveyed countries included China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam.
