Share of Russians paying for online content 2019, by purchase type

The largest share of respondents in Russia as of 2019 purchased video content on the internet, with six percent having a subscription and seven percent having made a one-time purchase. Books were the most popular medium sold online by a single purchase method, as nearly every tenth Russian bought a book on the internet without a subscription. Furthermore, five percent of survey participants were subscribed to a music service.
