
Obstacles to mass adoption of virtual reality (VR) technologies Q1 2019
In an early 2019 survey, 27 percent of of the industry experts surveyed cited user experience as being one of the biggest obstacles to mass adoption of virtual reality (VR) technologies. Consumer and business reluctance to embrace augmented reality (AR)/VR came in second place with a 20 percent share, closely followed by content offerings with 19 percent of respondents citing this as an obstacle.
