Volume of shellfish imports to China 2014-2018
In 2018, China imported 326,098 metric tons of shellfish products, representing a negative compound annual growth rate of 6.3 percent between 2014 and 2018. That year, the largest volume share of imported shellfish was frozen, smoked, dried, salted cuttlefish and squid accounting for nearly 62 percent of the imports.
