Imports and exports volume of French fishery products 2019, by species

Between 2000 and 2019, France consistently imported more seafood products than it exported.
Even though the import volume fluctuated during that period, it generally increased, going from 994.1 thousand tons in 2000, to 1171.3 thousand tons in 2019. Regarding the export volume, after an initial decrease until 2014, it then started increasing again reaching 351.8 thousand tons in 2019.
