Attitudes towards using legal cannabis in Great Britain 2019

In 2019, a survey in Great Britain found that the legalization of cannabis there would not make a huge impact on the likelihood of people trying the drug for the first time. Across all age groups, a sizable share of adults in Great Britain have either already tried cannabis before, or would be very unlikely to try cannabis even if it was legalized and government regulated. Among those aged 25 to 49 years of age, 43 percent of adults have already tried cannabis, while a further 37 percent in that age group would be very unlikely to try it.
