Public support to curb overfishing in Poland 2019, by type of policy
The highest public support for the ban on fishing for endangered species was recorded for 79 percent of those surveyed in Poland in 2019. Slightly fewer respondents supported banning shops and restaurants from selling endangered fish species. According to Ipsos, respondents relatively less endorsed the requirement for stores and restaurants to inform consumers about the endangered status of the fish species they sell.
