FMCG online sales growth due to COVID-19 Russia April 2020, by product

In the second week of April 2020, online sales of sterilized milk in Russia increased by nearly 200 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. The increase in fast-moving consumer goods sales over the internet was observed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, as more cases of the infection were reported in Russia and around the world. During the self-isolation regime, Russians used online grocery delivery services, which led to an increase in sales.
