Respondents' reaction on the coronavirus outbreak Indonesia by age group 2020

According to a survey conducted in Indonesia in March 2020, only 25 percent of the respondents aged between 40 and 44 years old stated that they were feeling panicked by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 outbreak in Indonesia. In comparison, more respondents who were aged between 20 to 24 years old feeling panicked. Indonesia's President, Joko “Jokowi” Widodo announced the first two confirmed cases of the disease in the country on March 2, 2020. Before the announcement, Indonesia had no confirmed cases of COVID-19, raising concerns about the country’s ability to detect the virus.
