Beds in isolation hospitals and contagious disease wards in Poland 2001-2018

In 2001, 4931 beds were recorded in infectious disease wards and hospitals throughout Poland. By 2018, this number had fallen by nearly 40 percent. In the years 2003-2004, the number of beds increased by 158. In the years 2010-2011 - by three, in the years 2015-2016 - by 50. In the remaining periods compared to the previous year, the number of beds in infectious wards decreased. Between 2017 and 2018, the number of such beds in hospitals decreased by 178.
