Number of master students in Denmark 2009-2019, by gender

In Denmark, more women than men are studying to attain a master's degree. The number of people with a master's degree has generally increased over the past ten years. However, the difference in number of students between men and women has also increased. In 2009, the difference amounted to around six thousand people, but grew to over eight thousand as of 2019. In 2019, 35,981 women and 27,980 men were studying at master's programs in Denmark.
