In the 4th quarter of 2021, the Business Survey Index (BSI) for the manufacturing sector in South Korea was 96 points, up slightly from 93 points in the previous quarter. Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the index value initially fell to 71 points in the first quarter of 2021 after which it recovered slightly.
