Confidence in economic recovery after COVID-19 in China 2020

According to the survey conducted by McKinsey, the share of the respondents who were optimistic about the Chinese economic recovery reached 53 percent from May 19 to May 25, 2020, higher than the 43 percent in February. The growth of confidence may result from the resumption of work.

The survey was conducted among: 1,257 respondents (including Hubei province) on May 5 to 11, 2020 1,220 respondents (including Hubei province) on April 15 to 19, 2020 1,216 respondents (including Hubei province) on April 8 to 13, 2020 1,896 respondents (including Hubei province) on April 1 to 6, 2020 1,048 respondents (including Hubei province) on March 25 to 30, 2020
