The Italian Rugby Federation (FIR) estimated that the Six Nations Championship represented the main source of income in 2020. As reported in the budget report, the federation forecast revenues of roughly 19.5 million euros from the renowned rugby tournament in 2020. Moreover, the FIR calculated revenues of 4.4 million euros from sponsorships.
