Italy: rugby clubs winning the TOP12 1928-2019

As of the season 2018/19, Amatori Milano was the men's rugby club in Italy winning the highest number of TOP12 championships. Since the season 1928/29, the club won a total of 18 titles. However, Amatori Milano won its last title in 1995/96 and the team was disbanded in 2011. Benetton Treviso ranked second in the list, with a total of 15 championships won. Furthermore, Rugby Calvisano won the latest TOP12 season in 2018/19, obtaining its seventh title overall. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2019/20 TOP12 ended early and this year's championship will not be assigned. Before all matches were suspended, Rugby Rovigo was leading the league.
