During the pandemic crisis caused by the infectious disease COVID-19, the prices of some petrochemicals have experienced considerable variations in Europe during April 2002. As of April 22, 2020, the price of styrene in Europe dropped by 95 U.S. dollars per metric ton compared to the previous week, thus sitting at 460 U.S. dollars per metric ton on that day.
