Enrollment at historically Black colleges by gender U.S. 1976-2020
The enrollment at historically Black colleges and universities in the United States from 1976 to 2020 has fluctuated, but there has consistently been more females than males enrolled. In 2020, there were 179,546 females and 99,611 males enrolled at historically Black colleges and universities.
