Between January 2017 and May 2020, iOS users made up the greatest part of monthly active users (MAUs) of the Gmail app in Italy. According to the figures released by Airnow, in May 2020, the app of Gmail counted over three million MAUs on iPhones and iPads, while android users amounted to roughly 177 thousand.
