Sugar production from sugar beet in selected European countries 2018/19-2020/21
In 2019/2020, the United Kingdom produced 900 kilotons of sugar from sugar beets. This makes the country the fifth largest producer of sugar among the European countries displayed here. Germany was the largest producer of sugar in Europe and produced 4.6 times the amount the UK produced during the same year.
