In 2019, tax revenues generated by casino games, poker cash, and poker tournament in Italy rose significantly compared to 2018, increasing by almost 41 percent. On the other hand, tax revenues from horse racing betting decreased, dropping by almost 14 percent in 2019, compared to the previous year.
