In 2020, selling used goods has become common practice among consumers, with more than 85 percent of people in France having sold second-hand products at least once in their lifetime. Giving away textiles, linen and footwear items is also a practice among some French people. While there are several solutions for donating this type of item, street containers seemed to be the best known and most used by the French in 2018.
