Buying new is not necessarily the only solution when it comes to clothing, home textiles and footwear items. One can also consider barter, rental, or second-hand purchase. Regarding the latter option, a survey conducted in 2018 revealed that an important portion (among people buying second-hand) of people aged between 15 and 29 years old purchased second-hand footwear items (43 percent), followed by 30 to 44 year olds.
