Between 2016 and 2019, the distribution of second-hand home textile items on the French market has undergone several changes. The evolution of volumes for so-called small items seems particularly important and could underline the polarization of the market between entry-level and premium items. Indeed, of the 2.88 billion items (according to the source) of second-hand clothing, textiles and footwear marketed, small home textile items accounted for 2.5 percent in 2016, compared to approximately 3.8 percent three years later.
