Annual change in the number of leased vehicles in Netherlands 2017-2021, by segment
Of the different types of vehicle leased in the Netherlands in 2021, light commercial vehicles of passenger cars increased the most. Meanwhile, the number of passenger cars leased privately grew by 14 percent between 2019 and 2020, and by 61 percent between 2016 and 2017. However, despite the rapid growth of the number of private lease cars, the business lease sector was still larger in 2021.
