Distribution of newly sold lease cars in the Netherlands 2018, by car segment
As of 2018, approximately 20 percent of the sold lease cars in the Netherlands were from a segment B categorization, which includes, for example, the Peugeot 208 model. Roughly ten percent of the sold lease cars fell within the category D (e.g. Volkswagen Passat), but most leased car sales were from category C (e.g. Ford Focus).
