From 2012 to 2020, the Gender Parity Index (GPI) for gross enrollment in primary education in Morocco stood at one, indicating that both female and male students were equally favored in this area. Previously, girls had more disadvantages in learning opportunities. On the whole, children between ages six and 15 in Morocco are obliged to enroll in school.
