Tunisia: secondary school students by gender 2021

In the 2020/2021 academic year, around 980,000 students were enrolled in public middle (or lower secondary) and secondary (or upper secondary) schools in Tunisia. In the same year, there were more female (537,539) than male students (442,924). The number of total students generally increased from 2014 onwards, with girls being more numerous than boys each year.
