
Food exports from Africa, by destination 2019
As of 2019, food exports from Africa amounted to roughly 61.4 billion U.S. dollars. The largest part (around 32.5 billion U.S. dollars) had as destination developing economies in the continent itself, and also in America, and Asia and Oceania. Approximately 27 billion U.S. dollars were generated from food exports to developed economies, while around 1.7 billion U.S. dollars came from transition economies.
