Distribution of food exports from Africa 2019, by destination
As of 2019, 53 percent of food exports from Africa had developing countries as a destination. Other 44 percent were to developed economies, while three percent reached transition economies. In the same year, Africa earned 61.4 billion U.S. dollars with food exports.
