Opinion on the referendum on the acceptability of abortion in Poland 2020
In October 2020, the Constitutional Tribunal in Poland announced a verdict in the so-called eugenic abortion, which aroused much controversy and protests. Nearly seven out of 10 respondents believed that a referendum should be held on the admissibility and conditions of admissibility of abortion. Twenty-four percent of Poles voted against the general referendum.
