Upcoming liquids projects in Africa by resource volume 2020
As of 2020, Africa counted around 15 upcoming liquids projects in the oil and gas industry, which are expected to bring investments and increase the sector activity in the continent. The Tilenga project in Uganda, operated by Total, has the largest estimated resource volume; 945 million barrels of oil equivalent. In Nigeria, where the majority of developments are located, the Bosi project, operated by ExxonMobil, has estimated reserves of 790 million barrels of oil equivalent.
