Oil production in Africa 1998-2022

In 2022, Africa's oil production amounted to 7.1 million barrels of oil per day, down from approximately 7.3 million barrels daily in the previous year. Oil production in the African continent peaked in 2008, at some 10.3 million barrels of oil per day. Since then, figures have been on a mostly downward trend.
